Tariq Jamali
SEVP & Group Chief, Assets Recovery Group
Mr. Tariq Jamali is SEVP and Group Chief of Assets Recovery Group. Previously he was Group Chief of Logistics Support Group at National Bank of Pakistan since December 2014. He remained Group Chief of Commercial and Retail Banking Group, and Group Chief of Compliance Group since 2009. He joined National Bank of Pakistan in 1987 and has held numerous Senior Management positions at Regional and Head Office levels. He has an overall working experience of more than 23 years at different key positions. He holds an MBA degree from University of Dallas, USA.
Sultana Naheed
SEVP & Group Chief, Commercial & Retail Banking Group
Ms. Sultana Naheed holds a Master's degree in Economics and has also done DAIBP in which she won distinctions and a gold medal. She is a career banker and possesses vast experience spanning over 32 years. Since joining the Bank in 1984 she has served on numerous important and challenging assignments both in the field and at Head Office. She has led Bank's one of the largest regions Karachi (South) from 2005 to 2010, under her leadership this region was declared "best domestic region of NBP" and for her extraordinary performance as Regional Business Chief she was awarded Eight certificates of excellence and certificates of appreciation.
In 2010 when she was transferred to Head Office, Karachi (South) region exhibited unprecedented figures for business and profitability as deposits stood at Rs.119.855 billion, advances touched Rs.22.134 billion and profit was at Rs.3.172 billion. In CMG as Wing Head and later on Divisional Head she took many initiatives to streamline the Credit Risk Assessment processes in her unit and in the field and also trained and groomed a team of credit analysts for effective credit appraisal.
Mudassir H. Khan
SEVP & Group Chief, Payment Services & Digital Banking Group
Previously at NBP, he was SEVP & Group Chief, Commercial & Retail Banking Group (CRBG) where he managed Commercial, SME, Retail, Consumer, Agriculture, ADCs, payments and branchless banking portfolio with an aggregate advances portfolio of nearly Rs.350 billion and a liabilities book of Rs.1.5 trillion.

Mr. Khan holds a Master's Degree in Finance and Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from USA. He also acquired an Executive MBA update from Stern School of Business, New York University, USA. He has an overall professional experience of over twenty five years and is currently working as SEVP/Group Chief, Payment Services & Digital Banking Group at National Bank of Pakistan.

Mr. Khan has worked with HBL for nine years, were he held different portfolios as SEVP Group Head Global Operations, CIO, CCO and Head of Basel and Operational Risk. Prior to HBL, he was with the World Bank for more than fourteen years in the area of Financial Sector and Private Sector Development, South Asia Region; in Pakistan and has also worked in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives, Ghana, Uganda and Sierra Leone. Before joining the World Bank, he worked in the field of Corporate and Investment Banking with Citibank, N.A. and Bear Stearns in Pakistan and in USA.

Presently he is also the Chairman Board of Directors of NBP Fullerton Asset Management Limited (NAFA) and Director of National Assets Insurance Ltd. and Arabian Sea Country Club. He was previously Director at First Women Bank Limited (FWBL) and served as member Board of Directors for National Institute of Financial Transactions (NIFT); ISM and FWBL and was the Chairman Audit Committee & Risk Management Committee for FWBL and member HR and Compensation Committees for NIFT.

Zahid Mahmood Chaudhry
SEVP & Group Chief, Human Resources Management Group

Mr. Zahid M. Chaudhry qualified MBA degree from University of the Punjab in 1978. He holds professional qualification of DAIBP from Institute of Bankers Pakistan and CHRP (Certified Human Resource Practioner) from Concord Certification Corporation, Canada.

He brings with him a rich and diversified experience of over 35 years in Human Resource Management, Operations, Audit and Trade Finance. He started his banking career with Bank of Credit & Commerce International (BCCI) in 1981, after completing a comprehensive training he worked in different branches of the bank in London, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Prior to joining National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), he held several senior Management Positions as Head of Human Resources Division for Bank Al Habib Limited, Country Head, Human Resource Division at Askari Bank Limited, Head of Human Resources Division at Union Bank Limited and Country Head-International Banking at Askari Bank Ltd.

Aamir Sattar
SEVP & Group Chief, Audit & Inspection Group
Joined the Bank in 2000 prior to which he was employed by M/s. KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co., Chartered Accountants. Previously he was Financial Controller of NBP. Currently he is hoding the position of Group Chief, Audit & Inspection Group.  He is a Chartered Accountant.
Muhammad Faraz Haider
SEVP & Group Chief, Compliance Group

Mr. Muhammad Faraz Haider is a highly qualified, certified and experienced professional. He holds MBA degree from Institute of Business Administration, Karachi. To his credit, there are a number of professional certifications from accredited professional bodies. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst from CFA Institute USA, has passed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Exam from AICPA, USA and is qualified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from GARP, USA. He is also a Certified Internal Auditor from the Institute of Internal Auditors IIA, USA & Certified Information System Auditor from ISACA, USA. Besides, this he is a certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist from ACAMS, USA and Certified Fraud Examiner from ACFE, USA.

He has varied professional experience of over twenty one years in retail & wholesale banking including central banking, in Compliance & Operational Risk. He has designed and implemented policies and processes and has set up frameworks and functions. Prior to joining NBP, he has worked for numerous organizations in lead positions such as Country Head Operational Risk at Standard Chartered Bank, Head of Compliance at Habib Metropolitan Bank (subsidiary of AG Zurich), Group Head Compliance, Legal & Fraud Risk at NIB Bank (a subsidiary of Temasek Group), Head of Compliance & Operational Risk at NIB Bank, Head of Compliance Wholesale Bank at Standard Chartered Bank, Head of International Treasury at Habib Bank Limited, and Inspecting Officer/Assistant Director in State Bank of Pakistan during initial career years.

He is currently working as SEVP/Group Chief, Compliance Group and looking after compliance review program, designing enterprise-wide compliance risk management frameworks and developing written compliance program/policy documents consistent with management objectives and regulatory compliance.

Khawaja Muhammad Aminul Azam
EVP & Group Head, Islamic Banking Group
Khawaja Muhammad Aminulazam is the Head of Islamic Banking Group at NBP-Aitemaad. He is a foreign qualified, graduated from Boston University School of Management, USA. He has been working and contributing his efforts in National Bank of Pakistan since 2009, and has been a great asset for the exposure and development of Islamic Banking Group.
Since the time he has become the Head of Islamic Banking. He is working extensively and dedicatedly to promote Aitemaad in the Islamic Banking Industry. He started new projects and gained success in the avenues throughout.

As the Head of Islamic Banking group (IBG), he opened many Islamic Banking Branches through proper launch ceremony having media coverage too. In addition to opening dedicated Islamic Banking Branches (IBBs), he is also working on conversion of 150 conventional branches to IBBs. Moreover, he has emphasized on the promotion of the brand “Aitemaad” through sponsoring major Islamic banking conferences and seminars.

During his tenor in Islamic Banking, he has also launched bilateral Islamic wholesale, corporate, and commercial banking setup for the Bank that includes relationship management team, shariah compliant products, shariah compliant products documentation, process flow, and migration to the bank’s new core banking system. In addition of the above, he keenly reviews and monitors the teams managing and raising the CASA deposits, and credit portfolio of IBG. He has also successfully restructured bilateral and syndicated facilities; along with this he also keeps a constant focus on achieving the agreed revenues, budgets, ancillary business, and liabilities targets for Islamic Wholesale business segment; and makes additional efforts to maintain liaison with SBP to ensure smooth functioning of Islamic Banking in NBP.

Essential to mention, he also has a vast banking experience of serving in big financial institutions like Habib Bank Ltd., United Bank Ltd., Union Bank, and Prime Commercial Bank Ltd. In the past.
