| NBP with Kaus-e-Kazah an NGO have collaborated in the "NBP Empowered Women, Empowered Pakistan Project" The core objective of this project, empowering women in Pakistan with the capacity, means, and tools to sufficiently fulfill their daily needs as well as earn a healthy, respectable, and socially acceptable form of livelihood. Furthermore, this project hopes that - in the long run - women of rural backgrounds, with special focus on women who are widows and are the only breadwinners of their families and women with special needs will have a stable form of revenue, and this sustainable livelihood will help in economic prosperity for them and their families - this project has been able to open, operate, and conclude four centers at present - Kishmore, Sindh; Jafferabad, Baluchistan; and Rawalpindi, Punjab; and Abbottabad and Haripur, KP -while three more centers will be established - subsequently - in Chakwal, Punjab; Mirpur Khas, Sindh; and Dadu Murad, Baluchistan. This will mean two centers per province at a national level. |
