NBP Head Office Library was established in 1965. Mr. Mumtaz Hassan Ex Managing Director of the Bank was its founder. Renovation and initial computerization work was begun in 1997. We acquired Library Automation Program in 2004. It is under Learning & Development Division, HRM Group.

Major services provided to the readers are as follows:

• Provide reference service for searching the books specific book and the books at specific subjects.
• Guidance to readers about the articles published in magazines and newspapers through indexing articles.
• Provide photo copying service of few pages of book and articles.
• Provide printout of web searching result to readers on their demand.
• We also arrange books which are demanded by most of our readers.
• We issued five books to the reader for one month.
• Provide telephonic reference service to the readers.
• Provide the required material to the readers at their seat on demand.
• Reserve book for the readers when it will return back
