Shariah Restrictions – NBP Internet Banking

• NBP Internet Banking will be offered to AIBG customers on the basis of Ijarah (underlying Islamic mode).

• NBP Internet Banking shall not be used as payment for Shariah prohibited product(s). In this regard, Bank has right to block the NBP Internet Banking immediately if transaction is executed for Shariah prohibited product(s). However, list of prohibited merchant(s)/product(s) will be updated on bank’s website from time to time.
• No overdraft facility is allowed.
• Only takaful products should be processed for payments.
• Only Shariah compliant investment products should be processed for payments.
• School/Education payments should not be processed with late fee charges.
